Just two years ago, there was
no system for publicly accessing a file of incident
reports on the Dallas Police Department's server.
Despite a few technical hiccups, we have truly
come a long way.
The Dallas Police Department has been aggressively
developing a means of putting years of incident
reports and 911 call histories online for the
public to review and download for more than two
years.
Daily Crime Report is contacting police departments
all over Texas in order to establish a relationship
for securing their incident reports on a daily
(or at least weekly basis). Even though most have
some form of the same information that Dallas provides,
getting it to our servers and then to our subscribers
is another issue.
If your city is listed below, then Daily Crime
Report has made some kind of contact with them
and is awaiting a response.
If you want your city's incident reports delivered
by email every morning, call the Police Chief and
ask him to support Daily Crime Report's efforts
to make that data available to the public. |
